Course Outcome

≥93% of participants will improve their ability to assess and correct lower body movement dysfunctions by integrating principles of biomechanics, myofascial anatomy, core stability, and gait optimization into their clinical or training practice.

Course Objectives

After completing this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify key myofascial chains and anatomical links that influence lower body mobility, stability, and gait.
  • Analyze the biomechanical sequence of events involved in ideal walking and running mechanics, including the role of the foot and ankle.
  • Apply practical strategies for treating common lower extremity conditions such as plantar fasciitis, knee strain, ITB syndrome, and hip dysfunction.
  • Design corrective exercise plans that incorporate flexibility, strengthening, motor control, and fascial release techniques to restore efficient movement.
  • Evaluate the contribution of footwear and determine when orthotic intervention may be indicated for gait correction.

Who Should Enroll?

  • Chiropractors and Chiropractic Assistants: Clinicians who assess gait, posture, and lower limb dysfunction and want to deepen their application of fascia-informed biomechanics in treatment planning.
  • Massage Therapists, Manual Therapists, and Myofascial Practitioners: Bodyworkers looking to improve outcomes by addressing the structural and fascial contributors to movement impairments and lower extremity injuries.
