Below are details about chiropractic continuing education and license renewal in Alaska.

Alaska Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: Licensees require 32 hours every two years. 8 hours are required in radiographic safety, radiographic techniques and interpretation or diagnostic imaging, 2 hours are required in coding and documentation, 2 hours are required in ethics and boundaries, and 2 hours are required in CPR. Alaska accepts 16 hours of online continuing education courses. Licensee must fill out state board form listing each CE course completed. 

New licensee renewals: New licensees must complete 16 hours of continuing education for each full year of practice prior to renewal.

A Better Chiro continuing education is administered by Life Chiropractic College West, an accredited CCE College, and offers approved online courses for licensure by the Alaska Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
