Below are details about continuing education and license renewal in Florida. 

Florida Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: 40 hours are required per two-year renewal period, due by March 31st. At least 2 hours must be in Medical Errors, 2 in Laws and Rules, 1 in Risk Management, 6 in Record Keeping/Documentation and Coding and 2 hours of Ethics. If certified in acupuncture, 4 hours in Acupuncture are required as part of the 40 hours. This includes 2 hours in Acupuncture Safety and Risk Management and 2 hours in Acupuncture Technique.

Florida accepts all 40 credits in online continuing education courses that are registered with CE Broker. 

For First Time Renewal Only: 11 hours are required, including 6 in Record Keeping/Documentation, 2 in Ethics, 2 in Medical Errors, and 1 in HIV/AIDS.
