Below are details about continuing education and license renewal in Florida. 

Florida Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: 40 hours are required per two-year renewal period, due by March 31st. 27 hours are required in General Hours, 2 in Medical Errors, 2 in Laws and Rules, 1 in Risk Management, 6 in Record Keeping/Documentation and Coding and 2 hours of Ethics. If certified in Acupuncture, 4 hours are required in Acupuncture (in addition to the 40 hours), along with 2 hours in Safety & Risk Management and Technique (may be included in the required 40). Florida accepts all 40 credits in online continuing education courses that are registered with CE Broker. 

For First Time Renewal Only: 13 hours are required, including 6 in Record Keeping/Documentation, 2 in Ethics, 2 in Medical Errors, and 3 in HIV/AIDS.
