Below are details about continuing education and license renewal in Virginia.

Virginia Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: 60 hours are required per two-year renewal period, due by your birth month. A minimum of 30 hours must be taken in Type 1 courses. 2 hours are required in Pain Management or Diagnosis and Management of Addiction. As of January 1, 2024, all licensees must complete 1 hour of continuing education on human trafficking. Virginia accepts all 60 hours in CCE-College accredited online continuing education courses. Licensee must attest completion on state board forms and are subject to audit. 

A Better Chiro is administered by Life Chiropractic College West and provides CCE-College accredited and FCLB PACE approved continuing education. All our courses are considered Type 1. We offer approved online courses for licensure with the Virginia Board of Medicine Department of Health Professionals and report your completions to the state board and PACE within 5 business days.
