Below are details about chiropractic continuing education and license renewal in Ohio.

Ohio Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: 36 hours are required per two-year renewal period, due by April 1st in even-numbered years. A minimum of 2 hours is required in Boundaries, Trauma Informed Care, Human Trafficking Awareness or Laws and Rules. 12 hours in Acupuncture is required for DCs approved to perform acupuncture. Per Ohio rules, DCs are not allowed to take malpractice defense courses. Ohio accepts all 36 hours in FCLB PACE-approved online continuing education courses. Licensee must attest completion on state board forms and are subject to audit.
