Below are details about continuing education and license renewal in Maryland.

Maryland Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: 48 hours are required every two-year renewal period, due by August 31st. 3 hours are required in Communicable Disease/Sanitary Procedures, 3 in Risk Management, 1 in Cultural Diversity and 1 in Jurisprudence. Maryland accepts all 48 hours in approved online continuing education courses. Licensee must attest completion on state board forms and are subject to audit. 

A Better Chiro continuing education is administered by Life Chiropractic College West and approved by FCLB PACE and offers pre-approved online courses for licensure with the Maryland Department of Health.
