Georgia Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: 20 hours are required each year by December 31st to meet the total requirements of 40 hours per two-year renewal cycle. 15 hours are required in Chiropractic Clinical Science, 4 hours in Ethics or Risk Management, and 1 hour in Georgia Laws and Rules. 

Chiropractic Clinical Science includes topics such as:

  • Examination Procedures/Diagnoses
  • Adjustive Technique
  • Radiographic Technique/Safety
  • Diagnostic Imaging Interpretation
  • Nutrition
  • Research Trends
  • Physiological Therapeutics
  • Philosophy (3 hours only)
  • Clinical Documentation (4 hours only)

Georgia accepts a total of 20 hours in online continuing education courses per renewal cycle (10 hours per year). Licensee must attest completion on state board forms and are subject to audit.
