Connecticut Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements: Licensees must complete 48 hours of continuing education during each renewal period ending in odd-numbered years. Beginning with registration periods from January 2025 through January 2027, the required CE coursework must include a minimum of:

  • 1 hour in Pediatric Chiropractic
  • 1 hour in Imaging in Chiropractic
  • 1 hour in Manual Treatment/Adjustive Technique
  • 1 hour in Risk Assessment or Cybersecurity

In addition to the renewal requirements above, licensees must complete continuing education on mental health conditions commonly affecting veterans and the family members, every six years.

Connecticut accepts all 48 hours through approved online continuing education. No more than 8 hours may be earned in a single day. Licensees must attest to completion during renewal and are subject to audit by the state.

A Better Chiro continuing education is administered by Life Chiropractic College West, an accredited CCE College, and offers approved online courses accepted for licensure renewal by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health.
